Kevin and Grace Suiter
Kevin joined the pastoral staff of Colonial Hills in June 2011 when he was invited to serve as Administrator at Colonial Christian School. Kevin came with 22 years of teaching experience, as well as nine years of church youth/music ministry. He and Grace are committed to discipling another generation of servant leaders through the ministry of Colonial Christian School. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Kevin professed his personal faith in Christ at age six when his father led him to Christ at the conclusion of a Sunday evening service. He then committed to serve the Lord in response to a message on Romans 12:1-2 just prior to his senior year in high school. Thereafter, he completed a BA in Bible and Theology, a MA in Sacred Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting. Kevin’s spiritual gifts of administration, teaching, and mercy are well-suited to the Christian school ministry. In addition to serving as director of secondary choirs at CCS, Kevin also teaches voice through the Indianapolis Academy of Fine Arts where he serves as Director.
Grace, a pastor’s daughter from South Carolina, holds a BA in Bible and Theology and a MA in Piano Accompaniment. Though she also professed faith as a young child, she experienced genuine conversion as a freshman in Bible college after coming to a new realization of her need of God’s grace to cover her sin. Grace teaches part-time at CCS, and also teaches piano lessons through Indianapolis Academy of Fine Arts. She is a gifted speaker, teacher, and musician, and is loved by all who know her.
