Just over 2,000 years ago followers of Jesus stumbled into an empty tomb and heard that message that has been ringing around the world ever since: Christ arose! Join us this Easter Sunday at Colonial Hills Baptist Church as we gather to celebrate the hope of the resurrection!
Service Times for March 31
10:00 AM • Morning Worship Service
6:00 PM • Evening Concert
Our Sunday morning service will focus on the resurrection of Jesus as we sing together, enjoy special numbers designed to direct our attention to the One worthy of our worship, and hear a soul-stirring message on Christ's victory over death.
We will have a gift for all of our visitors as a way of saying thank you, will have photobooths available for families to take Easter photos, and will have candy available for all the children.
Our Sunday evening service will be a special concert entitled "Joy in the Journey" and seeks to answer some of life's biggest questions and shows how we can find joy in the difficulties of life through Jesus.
We hope that you are able to join us as we celebrate the One who lives again!
FAQ's
Where Should I Go?
When you come down Union Chapel you will see the steeple over the main entrance to the auditorium. We have several parking spots reserved for visitors along the road just to the north of the main entrance, although you are welcomed to park anywhere you find an opening. Once you come in the main doors, our friendly greeters and ushers will be happy to help you find your way around.
What Should I Expect as a New Visitor?
At Colonial Hills Baptist Church our goal is to exalt God through reverent and joyful worship, to build up Christians through the preaching and teaching of God's Word, and to invite everyone to learn about Jesus and to find salvation and true joy in Him.
Our services include congregational singing, specially prepared musical numbers, and preaching from God's Word. We don't have a dress code and you will see a mixture of formal and business casual throughout our congregation. We are far more concerned that you come than with what you wear!
What Do You Have Available for My Kids?
Our church offers a loving, well-staffed nursery for children 2 and under in both the morning and evening service.
For our morning worship service we will have classes available for those 3 years old through preschool. Kindergarten through 4th grade will begin in the main service, but will be dismissed partway through for a specially prepared children's church.
For the evening service, all children 3 and up will begin in the main service, but partway through the 3 and 4 year-olds will be dismissed for their own specially prepared class.
When you arrive, head to the main doors underneath the steeple, and look for a friendly usher who will be glad to show where the nursery and classes are located. If you RSVP in advance and let us know what ages your kids are, we will have dedicated and friendly greeters ready for you to show you around and help you get your children settled.
We'll Save You a Seat!
If you would like to RSVP in advance of your visit to Colonial, we would be glad for the opportunity to be a little more ready for you when you arrive! Although RSVPing is not required, if you choose to RSVP we will have a gift ready for you when you come and a friendly greeter to show you around.
