CHUCK PHELPS CALLED TO BE PASTOR

COLONIAL HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH

In the evening service, June 21, Colonial Hills Baptist Church voted to call Pastor Chuck Phelps as the next pastor by an overwhelming majority of 96%. 

The day began with Pastor Phelps teaching a combined Sunday school class; he then preached in the morning service.  In the evening service Pastor Phelps spent nearly two hours answering questions submitted by the congregation.  Following the question and answer time the church voted to extend a call to Pastor Phelps.  His kind acceptance letter is printed in our church bulletin.

We’re excited at the prospect of Pastor Phelps beginning his ministry at Colonial Hills Baptist Church on August 9.  Please pray for Colonial Hills Baptist Church in the days ahead that God will continue to use us as a lighthouse for the gospel and fundamentalism.
