Youth Ministry

The Colonial Youth Ministry encourages teens and their parents to love God with all their hearts and to serve Him (1 Samuel 12:24). In order to love God, teens must first know Him. Each week in Sunday school and on Wednesday evenings, our teens study the Word of God to strengthen their personal relationships with God and grow in understanding His attributes, His redemptive plan, and His workings in and through man. A love for God should naturally overflow into service for Him. Therefore, Colonial Youth Ministry encourages teens to begin using their lives now to serve God. Teens participating in teen choir, mission trips, and children’s evangelism can develop a lifelong pattern of serving the Lord.

Mission trips are designed to give teens intense training and serving opportunities outside of their comfort zones.  While camps tend to be a learning only time, mission trips give teens countless avenues to practice what they know.  Sacrificial service is expected as teens transition from fun-loving childhood to responsibility-embracing adulthood. …
