Outreach

At Colonial we take seriously God’s command to take the gospel to our community and to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:19-20). Knowing that Christ is the only hope for eternal life, we feel the urgency of reaching those who are trapped in sin and facing an eternity of damnation in hell.  We have the good news that Christ has paid the penalty for their sin by giving His own life to redeem theirs. And we share that good news with our community through every opportunity God gives us: bus ministry, in-home and nursing home visits, state fair evangelism, prison ministry, and in-school child evangelism fellowship clubs. Our outreach extends beyond the surrounding community through annual mission trips and the financial support of missionaries worldwide. Join us in sharing the good news of the gospel and experience the joy of introducing someone to Jesus Christ.

Colonial Hills Baptist Church is actively evangelizing and ministering to the incarcerated.  In Matthew 25:34-40, our Lord promises a blessing to those who visit the prisoner, for “inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

The Least of These Prison Ministry meets the spiritual needs of those behind bars by proclaiming the good news of salvation to the lost and discipling believers through careful Bible study.

Our men conduct monthly services for the men at the Hamilton County Jail.

We hold a weekly Bible study at the Correctional Industrial Facility (CIF) at the Pendleton Prison as well as a monthly church service.

Ladies conduct services and Bible studies for the women of Liberty Hall twice a month.
